Peptides on the internal structures of influenza virus

Researchers found a series of peptides on the internal structures of influenza virus( http://insciences.org/article.php?article_id=10661).
The internal structures do not mutate as rapidly as the external structures. The T-cell immune responses mostly are against the internal structures. A vaccine could be developed to target such peptides, which are common in all strains of influenza.
